This is how we party!

Prayer Party Usher the new year in church this year, Kingdomcity style! It was craaaaazy good. Everyone was so pumped up and the presence of God was so tangible. Twenty-first! On the second day of 2016, I had an early birthday dinner with all my buddies from church. Honestly wished it was a smaller crowd but... they all still meant so much to me. It was really hard for me to filter haha. I had Norman to help me organize the venue, and people. Really so thankful for him :) It was a really special dinner for me because those are the people that I'm journeying with in life and celebrating that day with them just meant so much more. So, Chelsea and Kent picked me up (and they were very late) to Yellow Brick Road. When I arrived, everyone was already there. I was so overwhelmed because, well, I just don't like being put in the spotlight. But I embraced it- it was my birthday after all hehe :P They (Howie) actually planned a game for us to play and t...

Shen-Nii Turns 20!

Image
This year, we celebrated Shen's birthday at Publika. It was also a farewell lunch for Khang too since he's flying off to Aussie. I arrived first with Penny and Su Vien. Since we had time to kill while waiting for the others to arrive, we decided to buy a bouquet of flower for Shen, since it's also Valentine's Day. We went to Ben's and picked the flowers and it came out really pretty! So proud of ourselves :) The birthday girl! <3 After waiting for around an hour, Shen-Nii and Kai Sheng arrived. The rest arrived shortly after that.  Lunch at The Social. I finally got to try that place out after 2 years! It was not bad, I thought the penne was alright. The peach banana crumbled cake was really good too hehe :) Group picture before we leave. Happy birthday, Shen! :D

Goodbye January!

Islamic Art Museum On the 14th of January, I visited the Islamic Art Museum! After a few weeks/months(?) of talking about it with Penny, we finally managed to visit this place. The exterior does not match with the information and details held in the interior. We were quite disappointed with the exterior- compared to the office building- but once we stepped inside, we were blown away by all the artistic decoration and information. It was truly eye opening. We spent a few hours in the museum trying to digest all the information but there's too much to handleee! Seriously, when we were half way done, we couldn't take in anymore and got really tired. But it was fun just exploring the whole building. It's always fun hanging out with Penny Wong :) Tycho Awake Tour The next day, Penny and I went for Tycho 'Awake' Live. It was incredible! They were so good. Just think of how good they are when you listen to them in your room with your earphones on; how they ...

The First Two Weeks of January 2015

Image
January is one eventful month! It is as if it just passed in a blink of an eye. 2015 is definitely going to be a new and challenging year for me as I am entering the 20's :O I'm slowly embracing being a twenty year old. It isn't all that bad being a twenty year old, I'm still able to be crazy and immature ;) I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned this before but I think the practical training last September has really taught me more than just being an Interior Designer. I've grown as a person and feel as if I have gotten to know myself better. Maybe it was God doing his thing, but I really a sudden realization on life. It's probably God telling me that I'm going to be 20! Hehe. This year, I celebrated the new year with my favourite people; the high school buddies. We have been through the good and the bad together, all the ups and downs, yet we have still remain as good friends; supporting one another along the way. We had our countdown this ye...

Delon's 19th

Image
Haven't been blogging for a while; due to me being lazy and busy.  So this year for Delon's birthday, we decided to try this Japanese buffet in a hotel. It was quite of a chilled day for us, I picked him up in the morning and then went to Sunway Pyramid. We wanted to catch a movie, but the timing wasn't right. So instead, we just walked around. Later, we decided to visit Luke at Garage51 since we were nearby. After that, we head to the hotel for the buffet dinner :) One thing about this place was the view! It was really pretty and we got a decent seat. Hehe :) One thing we both love: SASHIMI! After we both finished our meal, we kind of just drove around town and got lost. I kind of wanted to kill time since Cheng Yun and Sim wanted to surprise Delon at 12am, on his actual birthday. The surprise was successful, didn't really go as planned but Delon was still surprised. Later, we went for yumcha session and had dimsum. It was...

Ai-Vee's Nineteen

Image
Hi. Since I'm having my one week semester break, I will try to be more active and update my blog more often. I've been sooo lazy that I'm being so many post to post! Hopefully, I'll be able to bring everything back on track now ;) So on the 5th January 2014, it's Ai-Vee's birthday. Ben planned a surprise party for her- we are the surprise. Hehe, we hid in her room while waiting for her and Ben to come back from their movie date. Honestly, seeing her tear up because of this made me wanna cry too. But I'm glad we made her tear :P Prepared balloons to fill her room. While waiting for the birthday girl. The princess of the day :P A little out of focus picture of Li Qin and Penny. The guys :) It was actually a really good turn up! Almost everyone went :D Ben did a great job bringing them there, including Lam! Vee and Portia :D Distorted face. Dinnerrr! :D It was really good! Her mum is such a great cook. ...
